David Campbell Heritage Solutions is dedicated to developing and managing successful cultural heritage projects across the museums, archives, libraries and galleries sectors.
In particular I’m passionate about digitising heritage collections, interpreting it in interesting ways, and opening up access to those digital resources, and share them in ways that inspire communities to engage with them.
Services that I offer include:
- Researching and writing Heritage Lottery Fund applications, including applications, activity plans and business plans.
- Planning and managing digital archive projects – including digitisation strategy and workflows, imaging standards, metadata selection
- Creating successful community and partnership projects with new audiences for archives, libraries and museums.
- Working as a Critical Friend on projects to help heritage institutions, community groups, churches and special interest groups to develop their projects to the highest standards.
- Delivering training about outreach development, community engagement and co-creating for local, regional and national organisations.
